Not being computer technology literate, I would have liked a more informative instruction book – with exactly what programs it came with and suggestions for programs to install. I had WindowsXP before, so am still figuring out Windows 7, but all in all I’m pretty happy with my purchase....so In my honest opinion...........
great little pc for the money--i believe windows 7 slows it down a bit--could have used a whole year on the norton but i got another 7 momths on my mcafee..

comes with an empty ram slot. so glad they didn’t take up both ram slots with 1gb modules. instead they used up one slot with a 2gb module, so you can add an extra one right away. big plus for that. |

all those darn hp, ereader, promotional software that comes pre-loaded. i spent a good 30 minutes, uninstalling most of those useless tools. onboard video card uses up ram and is nothing special. so gamers would probably need to upgrade the video card. |

I am someone who has to have their daily dose of internet whether its to keep up with friends or its to check my email. No matter what I am doing, I have to at least log on at least once per day. The AMD processor that I got with this computer is just what I need in order to get online each day and to let me check my statuses all day along with playing the video games that my children love to play. I like the memory that came with it as it allows me to play the better games and do what I need to do.
I love the price that I paid for this computer as well since it is a lower priced computer, it does just what I need it to do. I did not have to spend a bunch of money out of pocket or did I have to invest a bunch of money out of pocket in order to be able to afford this computer. With this computer, I will be able to do everything that I know how to do and will be able to learn what I need to learn. It is important that I have a computer in the home that allows me to get online for my children and their homework as well as to allow me to get online.
I have to have space for them to be able to store their homework and therefore, this computer had the space I needed. The hard drive of 500 gigabytes is what I need to store all their homework on while storing my own documents. I also was looking for a affordable computer that comes with windows 7 installed and that is what came on this computer. All the way around, this was a good purchase for me and my family.

A Little Slower PC Desktop Machine (Report Review)

I ordered to buy dell from an online computer store, but after waiting many weeks, I never found any response from their representatives. So, I cancelled my order with lazy dell, and go for Compaq brand personal desktop computer. I am cheerful for this deal, because my older dell computer has been dead automatically, and I am safe at losing my money to buy the same brand.
I have got this Compaq desktop computer at my place in the couple of working days, and I was very pleased to see a courier representative knocking at my door. The total cost of this computer was lower than the other brand, and I am delighted to have this with many other long-term benefits regarding its free service and one-year warranty. I am working on my PC desktop for more than 10 hours a day, and it is a wonderful fact that it never stops working or mismanaging to search for stored data in the hard drive.
I will prefer its functions, but these are not faster as present in Dell, so both dell and Compaq have some advantages and disadvantages. So, it may be difficult for any person to buy one brand from them. My advice is to go for that brand, which is the most suitable to fulfill your needs to work on PC. If you want to work roughly on your desktop PC, then Compaq is not advised for you, because its outer body is not designed to suffer harsh conditions.
In contrast, I will recommend you to go for dell that can be used in any kind of harsh conditions and for 24 hours, a day without stopping its functions. There are also many other brands of computer, and these are not recommended for long-term use, due to low quality internal hardware circuits. I will recommend only two brands that are Dell and Compaq, if you are looking for a computer that can be used for long term.
