When it comes to coloring my hair, I have to make sure that I purchase the right shade. My hair color shade is hard to cover up and therefore I need to make sure that I have the right color to put on my hair. With the Natural Instincts hair color, I know that my hair is going to be covered and it will look as natural as possible.
The Clairol Natural Instincts is going to give your hair a color that looks as close to natural as possible. Along with the natural color shade that you are going to get with this type of hair color is the chance that your hair is going to shine and be deep in color.
If you are someone who does not like the ammonia fumes when you dye your hair, you want to be sure that you get a hair color dye that is going to be ammonia free and is also going to have antioxidants that are good for your hair. As well as having these benefits, you also get the benefit from having superior protection against damage caused from dying your hair. Your hair is going to be shinier and then healthier than ever before.
With most hair color dyes you are going to have to re-dye your hair every couple of months but with Clairol Natural Instincts, I only have to dye my hair once in a set amount of time, for me it’s usually once every 5 months before the hair dye comes out of my hair.
With this particular type of hair dye, I have a rich and radiant color that is perfect for my hair. It makes my hair feel soft as a baby’s bottom. I like the fact that it leaves my hair with no visible root line as well.

If you're looking for a quick and easy way to update your hair, cover grays, disguise roots, or just try out a new hair color, then a semi-permanent color is the way to go. You get all the advantages of glossy, full-coverage color, without the horrible ammonia smell, the hassle of touching up your roots, or the "oops" moment when you realize your color isn't quite the shade you'd hoped for. No worries! It washes away gradually over 28 shampoos, and then you can start over with another color, if you'd like.
Out of all the semi-permanent brands on the market, these Clariol Natural Instincts dyes are probably the most popular. They're super-gentle on your hair and have a great after-conditioner included in each kit. The range of shades offered is quite respectable, so you don't have to settle for only two or three shades of brown--you have several from which to select.
Clariol recently revamped this line to add a "color refresh" packet to each kit, which helps boost your color at the two-week mark. It's a nice touch and helps your results stay looking fresher longer.
This color is quick to use--it takes ten minutes to process--and it leaves my hair soft, shiny, and gorgeous. I like that the after-conditioner doesn't have a harsh smell to it. I've tried the L'Oreal Healthy Look semi-permanent dye, and that brand has an after-conditioner that smells really strange. This one is just neutral, so you don't have a lingering aroma about your head after you rinse it out.
It's perfect for a commit-phobe like me, who wants to darken her hair without having to worry about touching up the roots every month. I like that the brown lightened up really gradually and naturally, so by the end of the month, you couldn't tell that it had faded into my natural hair color.
