The King of Multi-Purpose Vacuuming (Report Review)
Aug 11, 2011 by DanaS
Consumer rating: (5)
The Dirt Devil Versa Power Stick has essentially announced the end of the bag vacuum cleaners that were cumbersome to maintain and costly to buy. This multi-purpose vacuum cleaner can be used to clean practically any part of the house with ease. The Dirt Devil Versa Power Stick has three cleaner functions that make it usable as a handheld vacuum cleaner, a stick vacuum cleaner or a utility vacuum cleaner. The hand held part of the vacuum cleaner detaches from the main part when it is needed. The cleaner has smooth rolling wheels, a cord wrap and there is a simple on and off switch for turning the cleaner on or off. The dust cup of this vacuum cleaner is removable and the entire vacuum cleaner features a light weight construction.
Pros:  This cleaner is usable on rags and even hard floors. The multi-purpose feature makes it real value for your money since it enables you to use the same cleaner in many different places. There is almost no corner of the house that this cleaner can't be used to clean. It can also be used on curtains. Since the hand held vacuum detaches from the rest of the cleaner, this makes it lighter to carry and easier to maneuver while cleaning. The cord wrap is quite essential for avoiding accidents. The bag-less design of this vacuum cleaner will ensure you won't spend a fortune replacing the bags. This cleaner is amazingly light as a whole and it is easy to use anywhere. It is also quite easy to empty out the dirt after cleaning
Cons:  The vacuum cleaner comes in a single color. The cleaner is also not designed to handle the large jobs and is not as good on carpet as it is on the floor. Its bag-less design means it has to be emptied more often than the other type.
Bargain Vacuum Cleaner (Report Review)

I am a bargain shopper to the core. I love to hunt for a good deal because I for one do not have any extra money to spend on items that I must have for the home. This being said, I will buy something if the price is right and I do not need it. I have a good vacuum already but you never know when it might die unexpectedly. For this reason, I like to have a backup in place. I found this vacuum for the right price and decided that I had to have it.

Since it is a new vacuum for me and I am unsure of how well it will work, I decided to try it out. I could not believe how well it worked. It worked better than my Bissell vacuum and it was cheaper than that vacuum as well. For this reason, I packed up my Bissell and put it back in the closet and kept my Dirt Devil at arms reach.

The Dirt Devil features a 3 in 1 vacuum with functions of working as a regular stick vacuum or as a handheld vacuum for tough jobs such as the hand held vacuum. Along with that, it comes with a utility vacuum function. The handheld function will allow for you to detach the vacuum easily and place it back on. I just love the onboard crevice tool that comes with it.

The simple on and off switch is something that makes it easy to turn on and off for even my younger kids who are just now learning to do chores. It not only has an on and off switch that is easy to use but the wheels roll perfectly along any type of floors that I have in my home. I have hardwood floors in my home as well as carpeting. I also have tile in my home that this vacuum rolls over easily.

The removable dust cup is perfect for emptying out the dust from when I am done vacuuming each time and is simple enough to remove that even the young kids can remove when they are done vacuuming. All in all, this is not only a good vacuum but is also a great deal to get on a good vacuum. When you compare it to other vacuums in this price range, it is the best choice for you out there.
Pros:  Smaller size
Easy to carry
Rolls easily
Cons:  Can not handle large jobs all at once
Needs to be emptied each vacuum session
Should hold more dust and dirt
Don't Waste Your Time or Money (Report Review)

This small, convenient vacuum converts to a stick vac, hand vac and a detail vac all in one. This vacuum would be absolutely perfect, if it actually worked. I first purchased this vac from a Black Friday sale for $10 regularly priced $29.99. When I read the box, I thought it sounded perfect. When I actually used the product I learned one lesson: If something sounds to good to be true chances are it is.

I'm don't know if I just had a defective product or what but I do know that after putting together (took 5 minutes at the most) I started to use the stick vac and trust me when I say that just after 3 minutes of using it it completely fell apart. I couldn't believe what I was seeing so I reread the instructions to see if I did something wrong and carefully put it back together. This time I decided to use the hand vac and I was grateful that it didn't fall apart but now I had another problem: It wouldn't suck up all the trash. I would put it over something and it would just get rid of half of the trash and then just stay the same no matter how long I kept moving back and forth through the trash.

That was the last straw for me so I went and exchanged for the same product because I thought the new product would work better. Now looking back on this I realize that was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. The same problems that happened with the first one happened with the second one too. I immediately returned it and this time I made sure I got my cash back.

I have never tried any other dirt devil products and after this experience I don't think I ever will. I would only recommend this product to college students who live in a small dorm. If you live somewhere else bigger than a small dorm than trust me when I say you are better off buying any other product that isn't this. I suggest you get the bigger sized vacs because many of them are even cheaper than this vac was. If you do decide to buy this product I only have two words for you: Good Luck!
