It's Heavy (Report Review)

The Canon EOS 7D is without question, the best 1.6x crop factor DSLR. It is weather sealed full metal body, high power built in flash and 8 Frames per second shooting it’s a great Camera for semi-professionals and professional s. I'm in love with this camera, I’m very impressed with its noise performance at higher ISO settings, and it’s a great bang for your buck. And it also shoots very high quality 1080p videos, I’m impressed! Well the Canon 7D is a substantial camera weighing-in at 820g, without battery or lenses, making it a fraction heavier than the 5D Mark II. Its grip is well designed to make it easy to support this weight, though even with the lightest lens, it\'s difficult to shoot with one hand only.
Well to sum it up first, things I don\'t like:
1. Slight tendency to overexpose in high contrast conditions,
2. No built-in AF illuminator,
3. No GPS unit.
Now the things I like:
1. Good quality 1080/720p video output with a range of frame rates,
2. External microphone socket,
3. Dual axis electronic level,
4. Large and bright viewfinder with 1.0x magnification and 100% coverage,
5. Excellent build quality with magnesium body and environmental sealing.
The bottom line is that the Canon 7D is the new level for APS-C DSLRs the Canon EOS 7D turns in great performance and great image quality in a great package.
