There are many things to consider when shopping for an air conditioner system including the size, cooling capacity and energy efficiency. Kenmore is one of the renowned manufacturers of air conditioning units. I have known thru family and friends that Kenmore products are durable. The Kenmore 75051 5300 BTU thru-wall/window air conditioner proved to be a great choice for homes not only for its durability but also for its excellent cooling capacity and energy efficiency. Its size and type is also convenient for easy installation.

The Kenmore air conditioning units are known for their durability. Like its fellow Kenmore units, the 75051 thru-wall/window air conditioner can also last for more than two decades with proper use and maintenance. And, the Kenmore 75051 that is of thru-wall or window type is perfect for people who want to uninstall and keep their AC unit when summer ends.
The Kenmore 75051 air conditioner is a good choice because it has a 5300 BTU cooling capacity. Such level of cooling capacity is not expected for the unit's price of approximately $120. It is definitely a good buy.
The unit is also good for families who are aiming for lower electric bill or those who want to receive rebates and tax credits. The Kenmore 75051 air conditioner is compliant with the Energy Star standards and very efficient when it comes to energy saving.
Lastly, while every air conditioning unit needs proper maintenance, the Kenmore 75051 proves to be better with its easy to clean fillers. You will not have a hard time cleaning different parts of the system as well so you can spend some of your time in other activities. |

I\'ve had a Kenmore 75051 5300 BTU window air conditioner for over 2 years now, and it has performed top notch for us since then. It was bought to replace an older 12 year old Kenmore window air conditioner that had finally met its end. It still worked, but it was getting a bit loud and I suspected the cost efficiency of running it was going up. The newer model, Kenmore 75051, is so much quieter, easier to use, and it cooling capacity is way better. Therefore it does not run as long and it automatically shuts off when the set temperature is reached.
It is installed in a room window on the second level of our house, and it actually sends cool air down the stairs cooling the stairwell. Since our bedrooms are upstairs, and on hot and muggy summer nights, our Kenmore window air conditioner helps keep our nights cool as we sleep. I have to add that it was very easy to install in the window and we had it operating just a few hours after bringing it home from the store.
We also found that our electric bills have lowered since we replaced the older Kenmore unit. Our new window air conditioner came with an Energy Saver option, timer and a remote control, making adjustments easier and making the unit more cost efficient.
So far so good, I give the Kenmore 75051 5300 BTU thru wall/window air conditioner two COOL thumbs up! If it last as long as our older Kenmore air conditioner, meaning over 12 years, then this purchase will have met its expectations and I will be a very satisfied customer.
