I use this treadmill at my gym. The fact that the gym buys it , already tells me that it has dissent quality and can sustain a frequent use. I very rare see one of them being "out of order" at the gym. My gym also has another kind of elliptical besides Life Fitness, but i like this one more due my height. I am 5"7 and find that another elliptical machine does not have long enough leg attachments and i am constantly bashing my knees. Classic Life Fitness and a good size for me or taller people. The only reason i would give 4 stars instead of 5 is that some of those machines have problems with reading heart monitor
