I got a sample jar of this at Sephora inside JCPenny. I'm glad i didn't have to pay for it because it did not work for my skin tone the way I was expecting it to . I have combination skin with uneven skin tones and was expecting it to even out the skin tone. After washing my face I applied this product per the instructions and it did not come out like i was expecting. So I went ahead and applied a second coating to see if that would do the trick. Nope, it did not. My skin tone was still noticeably uneven. But now that I think of it, I'm thinking that maybe the sales lady gave me the wrong color for my skin tone. I do, however, like the overall light feeling of it. It did seem to keep the shine at bay for longer than any other foundation that I've used in the past. I ended up giving the remainder of the powder to my daughter who is lighter skinned than I am. She works wonders with it. Next time Sephora has free samples, I think I'll go in for another one and make sure they give me a darker color.

I live at the beach so wearing heavy liquid foundation is just not comfortable and by lunch I look like I am dripping with streaks. The Bare Escentuals bareMinerals is the perfect answer! It feels soft and light, it stays on even when outside in the heat and it gives me a glow that looks natural.
Since it is a powder it is easy to brush on and takes like 10 seconds to apply. There are no looking for missed or uneven spots. It does not clog up your pours and is very easy to wash off.
I have extra sensitive skin and am pron to breakouts especially with foundations but I have never experienced any type of breakout with any Bare Escentuals bareMinerals product. I put it over my moistourizer and I am set for the day with no worries of reapplying or fading.
Simply tap, tap on the lid and then swirl over your face and you are done. I have never had a foundation of any kind that was this easy to use. You can apply a little if you are fair skinned or apply several times for darker skin so even with a suntan the same powder works wonderful.
