The Frigidaire FLGB8200DS Top Load Stacked Washer / Dryer is the kind of machine that you can get the most out of without putting too much strain on yourself. The main theme of this kind of washer/dryer is to relax and let the machine handle all the tough issues. As the name suggests, the Frigidaire FLGB8200DS Top Load Stacked Washer / Dryer is loaded from the top. It comes in white and has ten settings for washing that have been pre-set. It uses the drum washing method and has up to 3 cubic feet of wash space available inside it. It is a combined washer and dryer and has an end of cycle signal to alert you when your laundry is done. It dries the laundry using a gas dryer.

The top load feature makes it quite easy to do the laundry. This makes it easy to put in all your laundry into the dryer. The combined wash and dry features mean that you will never have to see another clothing line again and you can always wash your clothes and have them ready to wear in a matter of minutes. The 3 cubic feet of washing space inside the washer means that you can do most of your laundry in a single wash. This will save on both time and money since you will be using much less water. The ten wash preset is quite adequate for washing almost anything. You will find a setting for washing almost any type of laundry that you may have. This washer is also capable of spinning at very high speeds without any trouble unlike many other washers. Since the end of cycle signal alerts you, you can always do something else while you wait for your laundry to get done. |

Great for Tenants (Report Review)

I bought this unit for one of our rental apartment, and it has seen and been used by at least four different tenants in the last 3 to 5 years. Due to the fact that this Frigidaire unit is a stacked washer and dryer, it takes up less room which is perfect for the apartment. It requires just one 30 amp serviced plug in to run both units, hence leaving the other 120V service plug in the laundry room, free for other electrical usages.
Occasionally but not always, some tenants tend to be a little bit careless and rough with appliances that are included in the apartments, but this stacked washer/dryer still is working well even though it has many hours of usage and a few dings in it. I’m sure it has seen it has seen many different types of detergents and we haven’t had a tenant complain about how it washed and dried their clothes.
Of course, it has a load size limit due to its capacity, and a few complaints about how long it took the clothes to dry had been muttered on occasional times by the one specific tenant. This same tenant also complaint of the machine wobbling and bouncing, I assume it was due to a heavy off balanced load in the washing machine. However though, this specific tenant also had four children! This in my opinion would equal a lot of dirty laundry to clean daily, therefore the washer and dryer probably worked a bit harder than usual...but it still in operation as of today.
For the price I paid for this combined stacked washer/dryer, significantly lower than other stacked washer/dryer brand names such as LG or Maytag, it has paid for itself in just a few years into operation in the rental apartment...this would be considered a great Rate of Return on an asset in the business world.
