I have this in sweet pink (Report Review)

I bought the travel size in sweet pink and its so cute and mini. I love the way this lipgloss applies. Its not sticky at all and it really moisturizes my lips. It doesnt last very long and I have to reapply it often. It also doesnt have as much shine as I thought it would since it says super shiny. I thought that that was very odd because my lips didnt look as shiny as i wanted them to. I have very dry lips and this really helped out even though i did have to reapply it. It really doesnt have any color to it at all. My lips look the same shade as they did before i put it on. When i used it with lipstick underneath it really looked shiny then. This product shouldnt have to rely on lipstick to work correctly. I bought this tube for about 1 dollar and it lasts a long time considering that i had to reapply it all the time. i only needed a little drop to make my lips moisturized again. i would recommend this to anyone who is just looking for moisture and not full on shine like its intended purpose. glad i bought the travel size instead of the full tube.

Burt's Bees is a popular drugstore line of natural, chemical-free beauty products, like shampoo, soap, and lip balm. This Super Shiny gloss is part of their lip collections, and comes in a handful of nature-inspired hues of pink, red, and brown.
The color selection is limited, but that's because they're sticking to the most natural ingredients available. And for being all-natural, the price is really low--about $8--which is comparable to most other drugstore lip gloss offerings.
And it lives up to its name--it really is shiny! It's a great everyday sort of shine, but I also think it'd be nice to dress up a lipstick for evening.
The thing I love the most about this lip gloss is that it's free of chemicals--parabens and the like--so you know that it's almost 100% natural and good for you. Why is all of this such a big deal to me?
There's been a lot of press lately about all of the poisonous chemicals we're putting in our bodies through food, plastics, and cosmetic products. If you read the labels on most cosmetics, or look them up online, you'll see that they contain a host of ingredients known to cause health problems. It's really hard to find makeup that's free of these chemicals, like parabens.
The times you do manage to find good chemical-free makeup, it inevitably costs a pretty penny. Many lines that have decided to embrace the chemical-free way of manufacturing are priced considerably higher than drugstore makeup lines, leaving them out of reach of the average woman--like me!
Burt's Bees might not offer a full line of makeup, but the fact that I can buy chemical-free lip gloss, at such a reasonable price, is a start. I'd love to see them expand their line in the coming years to meet the growing demand for natural makeup.
