Very nice when it works! (Report Review)

I've owned this product for a few years now and when it works you won't find a much better microphone out on the market.

The speakers could be a bit better but they do just fine for what they are and I haven't found any issues with them yet.

The only problem is that the headset isn't built very well and they tend to break after a few months of use even if you're very careful with them.

However microsoft has a very good warranty and if they break they will help you replace them as soon as possible.

That being said the headset is very nice because it connects through your USB port and doesn't require any special drivers before use.

It's basically and plug and play headset that works great.

It's great for games like counter strike that require you to listen for foot steps and you won't find one that does much better for gaming.

As I said it doesn't get extremely loud and it doesn't have the best speakers but It definitely is good for any gamer looking for a cheap headset and just want's a basic headset.

Overall I would recommend this product because the price of it is good and the warranty for it is amazing.
Pros:  Great for gaming,
Music is decent,
Easy to use and connect.
Cons:  Cheaply made.

Do you use a number of programs that require that you wear headphones? I know I do. I tend to use Windows live messenger the most as well as yahoo messenger along with other programs that will require the occasional headphones however, the last time that I purchased a pair of expensive headphones, they did not live up to what I was expecting to get from them. For those of you who are like me and hate to spend money or throw money out the door, these headphones are made for you!

The microphone comes with noise canceling to make sure that the headphones allow the other users or people who you are talking to, to communicate with one another without having to listen to the background noise. I know for me this is important because I do not like to hear the background noise and would not want anyone who I am speaking to to have to listen to it also.

I like to walk around when I am talking and when carrying on a long conversation that I want to make sure that I have some room to move when it comes to the cord on my headphones. The long six foot cord that comes with these headphones allows me to move around freely within 6 feet of my computer with this headset. Other headphone and headset companies offer a short 2 feet cord or cable and this is one reason I like this set of headphones!

The volume control of the headphones is going to be convenient and easy to get to on the cord of the headphones. For most headphone users, the volume of the headphones is going to be controlled by the computer and not by the cord of the headphones. Overall, the headphones are pretty durable and easy to use.
Pros:  controls on the cord.
Cons:  has a cord.
