After going through many products that will define my curls and hold my hair throughout the whole day, this one just ended up in the trash can.
First of all, the packaging is cute and colorful and the product is very easy to dispense. The first thing I don't like about Garnier Fructis is their overpowering signature fruity scent. Secondly, this product claims to fight against humidity and it also claims to keep your hair smooth and not frizzy. In my experience, it did keep my hair from frizzing. How? It weighed my hair down and after I applied a quarter sized all over my hair, my hair was immediately oily and greasy. It made my hair look unbelievably dirty and unhealthy. Because it weighed my hair down, it loosened up my curls a lot, and by the end of the day, my hair was basically wavy instead of the tight curls I originally had before I applied some of this. Then, I decided to give it a second try and this time, I scrunched my hair. My mistake. My hair wouldn't even hold or scrunch. I will not be purchasing this product again nor do I recommend this to anyone.
