I to have had a fair share of can openers that did not work properly. Sadly this was also the case for the Swing A Way Can Opener. I bought mine online and I was disappointed. The Swing A Way Can Opener always slips off of the can when I try to turn it. I never knew that opening a can could be so difficult. I really expected this can opener to be the least of my worries. I am glad the Swing A Way Can Opener was not more than 10.00 or else I would have been really upset. The Swing A Way Can Opener's edges have started to wear out to the point that it is just useless all together. I could turn and turn it on a can all I wanted but it was never going to open it. I think that the dollar store can opener could give me less problems. I think I should switch to an electric can opener because they do not require tons of effort and time. Overall, I would not be recommending this to anyone I know because of my experience with it. I would say to move on to a different can opener if you are wanting to buy this one.

I think this is the 3rd can opener that I bought this year and I can say this is so far my favorite. My past two can openers suck. Either the shapes are too dull or it's hard to open a can. But with the "Swing A Way" Can Opener, opening a can is as easy as 1, 2, 3. What I like about this can opener is that it has a magnet underneath the blade. What this does is that it will make your can opener stick to the can since most cans are metal. That makes it so much easier to open a can because you don't need to worry about pushing it hard and twisting it all the time. You have have to lock it, and hold it firmly, and just twist and it will open the can so easily. My other can openers have blades that are so dull that I have to go back and try opening it again. But with this "Swing A Way" Can Opener, I just have to go around one time and it will open it. That is just so cool. Another good thing that makes this can opener pop out is that it looks professional. I want my kitchen to be cohesive and looks professional and this does it. It just fits in with the other kitchen tools but still stands out on its own. Overall, I really recommend this can opener. I bought it only at $3ish at this kitchen appliances store at an outlet. It's really worth it.
