I just realized when I checked the back of my Durabrand Toaster Oven that it is manufactured by Wal-Mart. Go figure. The Durabrand Toaster Oven is not really that great of an oven, but I do have to admit that there are both pros and cons about the Durabrand Toaster Oven. Some pros are that the Durabrand Toaster Oven heats up pretty quickly, and there are two dials, one to control the temperature or heat of the oven and another one that acts as a timer that dings when your toast is ready. I would not trust the timer, though, which has a scale that ranges from light to dark. This leads me to the cons -- while it is a good thing that the Durabrand Toaster Oven heats up really quickly, it is annoying to find that one minute your bread is still white, and the next minute it is black. You really have to keep close watch on your toast when you are using the Durabrand Toaster Oven. Your bread literally will become burnt in the span of a few seconds if you leave for a few minutes thinking that it will take awhile.
