The Oregon Trail Computer Game is a wonderful product that parents can feel good about purchasing for their children. I remember when I used to play this game back in elementary school during computer lab. The Oregon Trail, along with Odell Down Under, were probably my favorite computer games in computer lab. Basically, the Oregon Trail is a great way of learning about a chapter in American history. The game offers a fun way for children to simulate the experience that people actually had while traveling west on the Oregon Trail. You get to pretend that you are hunting for food, chopping firewood and bartering for goods in order to sustain yourself. Overall, I would definitely recommend The Oregon Trail Computer Game to schools and parents who are looking for a computer game that is both entertaining and appealing to children, as well as educational and purposeful. In fact, The Oregon Trail Computer Game is a game that I would still enjoy playing today if only I could procure a copy of it.
