For the last couple years i have been stopping at starbucks every day on the way to work to give me that extra push to last until the end of the day, the only thing is my extra shots of caffeine made it more expensive (about 3.50 per coffee) and that was really stripping me of my money, and finally i decided to bite my nails and go for this AMAZING coffee maker. I don't know if it was just the store i got it from, but it was kind of expensive, but once i brought it home, and tried out a cup of coffee brewed freshly from the machine, i was like WHOA, this is the best coffee i have ever tasted, and is it just me or does it taste even BETTER that starbucks coffee, so now its a couple years down the road and i have gone through 2 of these, and they are amazing, If you drink coffee a lot and every day like i do, then i really think that you should get this coffee maker because it lasts for about a year, it might even last more for you if you don't drink as much coffee as i do, so you should really get this coffee maker!

Wow!! This coffee maker is really nice!! I purchased ours for a very reasonable price and I am very impressed with it. We seem to have to replace our coffee makers often in our home because of hard water issues. This has the filter in it which really makes a difference and also for health reasons! The coffee brews perfectly each time. It smells the whole house with the aroma instead of capturing it all in the pot. I notice that each time we use it that I can smell it way at the other end of the home. That is always such a good smell and good feel. I love this coffee maker. It has a nice large glass holder with a beautiful handle. It has the stainless steal look and nice digital buttons. It has the timer on it so you can have the coffee ready in the morning. I love that feature most of all. It is easy to take the filter out and just wash it in the sink. It has a nice safe plug on it. It cleans up easily. It really is a nice looking appliance for the counter top too. I love it so much!!

I go through quite a few coffee makers a year because I'm a pretty heavy coffee drinker.
This one was on sale at the store the day I went so I decided to pick it up and try it compare it to a mr. coffee brand coffee maker.
Overall I have to say they are generally the same and they both lasted about the sane time frame.
I like the timing options this one offered compared to my other one because you can have it auto set to make your coffee in the morning and that can be a real life saver not having to wake up before work in the morning and waiting for it to make the coffee.
This works very fast when it's new too however don't expect it to last forever if you have hard water like I do you usually expect them to die out withing 3 to 4 months and this one also did.
I'm not holding it against the coffee maker very much because it's that way with all coffee makers I've had so far and I understand that it's probably just my water causing the problem.
The coffee usually turns out perfect unless I make a mistake by adding too many grains or something otherwise the coffee turns out perfect.
It's always very hot and stay warm for quite a while so that's not an issue either.
Overall if you can get this on sale for a good price I would recommend it.

The Cuisinart Brew Central DCC-1200 12-Cup Coffee Maker is the coffee maker that the world has been waiting for. This is a coffee maker that can actually know when to make your favorite cup of coffee and this is because it is programmable. You can program the brewing of the coffee and you can also program the automatic shut off for between 0 to 4 hours. The Cuisinart Brew Central DCC-1200 12-Cup Coffee Maker is made in a classic stainless steel design and has a brewing capacity of 12 cups. The drip-less spout, the knuckle guard and the overall ergonomically designed handle are also present. It has a feature that allows you to suspend your brewing midway and has a keep-warm feature that you can adjust. The coffee maker also has a charcoal water filter, cord storage and a measuring scoop. The coffee maker has a three year limited warranty and comes with an instruction book.

For starters the coffee maker is attractive to look at and the stainless design makes it heat efficient. The programming feature ensures that your cup of coffee will always be ready right when you need it while also preventing the coffee maker from being on for too long. The handle and the other features around it are all designed to ease your coffee pouring and the brew-pause feature enables you to get a sip of your coffee before the brewing is complete. The charcoal water filter is very effective and just in case you coffee maker gets a little dirty from constant use, there is an indicator light to tell you that the coffee maker needs cleaning. The measuring scoop is also quite a useful addition to the package. The three year limited warranty is quite substantial. |

Good Coffee Each Morning (Report Review)

I have never been one to purchase the more high end products or spend a bunch of money on a gadget or appliance for my home. In fact most of my appliances and small appliances are ones that come from a second hand store as well as from yard sales. For this reason, when my coffee maker bit the dust, I knew I needed to find one fast.
The trouble with purchasing a coffee maker last minute is that if you can not find one that is cheap and does everything that you want it to do; you have to settle for the one that is higher priced. When I looked at the retro style Cuisinart coffee maker, I not only liked the style of the coffee maker but I also loved the fact that it would make 12 cups of coffee that are 5 ounces a piece. This is hard to find as most cups of coffee made by other brands of coffee makers are only 3 ounces of coffee.
For the people who love to brew a small amount of coffee each time they make coffee, you will love the fact that you can make 1 cup at a time or 4 cups at a time along with the full pot of coffee. You can have coffee that has the most of its flavor by filtering out the good from the bad in the gold tone filter that comes with the Cuisinart coffee maker.
The water filter inside of the coffee maker is a huge plus as well. I like the fact that the coffee maker features a charcoal filter that makes filtering my water easier than purchasing bottled water each time I want to make a pot of coffee. The warming plate is heat adjustable and allows for me to set how hot I want my coffee to be. This is a big plus for me since I do not like to have hot coffee. I want to enjoy my cup of coffee right away and not have to worry about blowing on it or waiting for it to cool down.

As a morning coffee drinker, my Cusinart Brew Central Coffee Machine is the first kitchen appliance I greet in the early mornings. Combined with my favourite coffee and cold filtered water, this coffee machine has given me liquid love every morning now for the last year or so.
Whether I am brewing just a few cups of coffee for myself or a pot full for visiting company, my Cusinart has given me consistent tasting coffee without any problems. With its programmable timer and automatic shut off features, coffee is always ready by the time I get out of bed and the coffee machine shuts itself off when I forget about it. These two features are very important in any coffee machine. The one unique feature of the Cusinart Brew Central that I appreciate the most is Adjustable Keep-Warm Temperature Control. This feature allows me to adjust the coffee temperature to my liking...hot!
Now the best thing about the Cusinart is that its stainless steel look matches all of the other appliances in my kitchen. So when I decide to make the kitchen shine by using the special stainless steel cleaner, I can do all of my appliances in one cleaning. Also as an added cleaning feature, the Cusinart tells you when it’s ready to be strained with its “Time-To-Clean Monitor With Indicator Light”.
As one of my favourite kitchen tools, this Cusinart Brew Central coffee machine has met all my expectations. I hope to enjoy many of thousands of morning coffee cups with this particular unit.
