So here's the deal with the Oster 6803 14-Speed Blender: if you are looking for a high quality blender like the Blend-tec or Vitamix, then, obviously, the Oster 6803 14-Speed Blender is going to disappoint you. The Oster 6803 14-Speed Blender is a middle of the line blender that will get the job done but will not be able to achieve the smoothness of the smoothies you could get from the top of the line blenders. But what can you really expect from a thirty to forty dollar blender. I will say, however, that I was kind of disappointed that the low-high speed button popped off within the first week of use. I guess it's not that big of an issue since I leave the Oster 6803 14-Speed Blender on the high setting most of the time anyway. But still, I feel that the fact that the button popped off so quickly reveals the shoddy construction of the Oster 6803 14-Speed Blender. Other than, that, I think that cleanup is a bit of a pain because the bottom of the jar is hard to twist off when you want to clean the blades.
