For under $150, this is a great seat that will last from 2 until 8-12. It is easy to remove the harness straps to convert to a booster but they can be difficult to reroute for another child. The seat is heavy, sturdy, and easy to install

When it comes to shopping for a car seat, do you walk away from the higher priced car seats or are you encouraged by them? Personally, I always walked away from them but when I was shopping in our local baby store, I stumbled across the Graco Nautilus high back booster seat. I was never one for spending quite a bit of money on something that was going to be outgrown shortly but when I looked at this car seat, I knew it was something special.
I like the Graco Nautilus because it comes with a 3 in 1 feature. This helps you to use the car seat over time from the time that your baby or toddler reaches 20 pounds up until they are 100 pounds. This booster seat will last my son several years down the road. He will be in this car seat up until he reaches the height and age to be placed in a standard seat of the car.
The 3 position incline is great for allowing my child/ toddler room to relax when we are traveling long distances. We take at least 2 trips a year and when we travel, I do not want my child to be uncomfortable. If he is uncomfortable, that means we are making more stops to allow him to get out and therefore this means that I am going to take twice as long to get to my destination.
I like the fact that this car seat offers a one hand headrest that is fully adjustable and will adapt to what my growing son needs. If we use the car seat for someone else who needs a ride, we are able to adjust the head rest to the size of the other child. We often times will offer someone a ride someplace and they will place the child in the car seat and when I am taking them someplace, I want to know that everyone is comfortable in the car.
