the perfect computer (Report Review)

i think the mac book air is an amazing laptop. i love all the apps available of the app store. i love the organizing and language learner apps and my kids love the games and my youngest son likes the story book app. the high resolution screen makes games for my kids so much more real and interesting. i also love how thin it is because i use it for work and for work i travel a lot so the portability helps me a lot. i do wish there was a disk drive but its not that much of a problem. i also love the photo booth app so i can send pics of me to my family. i like the video camera which works in such detail that it looks like I'm talking in person to some one. i love the long lasting battery power it lasts almost 2 days with constant use and on standby around twice as long. i also love how light weight it is. so over all the mac book air is a great laptop it is very thin and light weight which makes it very portable and easy to travel with. the graphics are fantastic for games and videos. it comes at a relatively high price but i think its worth it. thanks.

I work on wall street, and am a businessman round the clock, and let me tell you this is the best possible computer that a businessman like me can have, I have a smartphone but doesn't have all the features i need, so that is where this thing comes in handy. It is light as a feather so i can carry it in my backpack really easily, and if i need to quickly type something up, or go to the internet for something, i usually use my smartphone, but if it needs a computer, i use this. My smartphone has a feature where i can share the 3g network so i use that feature on this laptop and all in all u just love it. It is the best, i don't usually use CD's that much, but that doesn't matter because this computer doesn't have a CD player, which is one more reason why i love it, if i don't use the CD player, then why have it? This laptop never ceases to impress me, i just recently upgraded my operating system to OSX Lion and that is amazing too, and has a bunch of new features, including Mission Control, and Launchpad each which i use a lot. GET THIS LAPTOP!

Apple MacBook Air 13.3 in. (MC503LLA) Mac Notebook (Report Review)

I have been a longtime PC user, and I still do not quite understand all the hype about Macs. I understand that Apple has taken the digital world by storm, but I think I will be sticking with my PCc. I tried out the Apple MacBook Air 13.3 in. (MC503LLA) Mac Notebook with high expecations because Mac notebooks just happened to be all the rage. I was expecing that there would be some things that I would need to get used to after switching over from Macs, but I did not actually think that I would have that much trouble adjusting to Macs. Unfortunately, I did end up having more trouble than I initially thought I would. The thing that I probably hated the most about the Apple MacBook Air 13.3 in. (MC503LLA) Mac Notebook is the mousepad. It felt extremely weird, and I was having trouble with it all day. Furthermore, I was having a lot of trouble adjusting to the lack of a scroll on the mousepad. That alone turned me off to the Apple MacBook Air 13.3 in. (MC503LLA) Mac Notebook. I will be returning to my PC laptop.

Awesome Laptop! (Report Review)

I love my MacBook Air. It's so thin and portable, and it's great for gamers like me.
The Macbook Air has a high-resolution screen that is perfect for games and apps. It has amazing graphics that would please even the most nitpicky of gamers.
It starts up in 18 seconds (I timed it) and shuts down in 3, which is remarkably fast for both startup and shutdown.
The speakers on this wonderful laptop are also surprisingly loud. They can fill up the biggest room in my house easily!
It has the same trackpad and backlit keyboard as the Macbook Pro, which I love.
Pretty much, this great laptop is a Macbook Pro in a much smaller, portable package with the same amount of amazing power. Overall, a great laptop for gamers and workers alike!

Amazing (Report Review)

The Macbook Air has all the capabilities and features of a Macbook Pro, but this amazing laptop comes in a much thinner package.
Light weight; 2.9 lbs (1.3 kg). You can easily hold it with one hand - the MBP 13" is noticeably heavier at 4.5 lbs.
+ Solid build quality like the MBPs. Chassis is rock solid, no keyboard flex, screen housing is rigid, and the lid has minor flex.
+ Better ergonomics than the MBPs; the palm rest edges don't dig into your wrists like the edges on the MBPs do.
+ Same great multitouch trackpad and the backlit keyboard makes a return.
+ The screen is a pleasure to use with it's high resolution (1440 x 900) and semi-gloss finish.
There is no glass cover so there will be dramatically less reflections compared to the screen of the MBPs
+ 18 second boot ups and 3 second shut downs. Resumes from sleep within 3 seconds.
+ The two USB 2.0 ports are on opposite sides of the laptop (less clutter than MBP)
+ Speakers are surprisingly loud; they can fill up a small room.
+ Runs extremely cool and it's so quiet that you'll wonder if the fan is running at all.
I can definitely feel heat ~ 87 degrees F on the MPB 13's underside after 6 hours of use
where as the MBA 13's underside stayed relatively cool.
+ Runs Windows 7 just as cool and quietly. (I installed Windows 7 via flash drive)
+ Performance is almost identical to the MBP 13" 2011 on everyday tasks because the Core i5
CPU can turbo boost to 2.7 GHz and the SSD allows for instant application launching.
+ Gaming: it has the same Intel HD Graphics 3000 as the MBP 13" 2011. I was able to run
Starcraft II smoothly at low settings on native resolution. Medium settings also ran nicely but
you get less FPS during large battles. League of Legends ran smoothly at medium settings
(30 FPS flat) on native resolution.
Overall, this amazingly thin and amazingly powerful laptop is definitely the one for you.
