Revlon Stylers Curling Iron (Report Review)

I tried the Revlon Stylers Curling Iron because I was basically looking for a cheap curling iron that would help me achieve the loose, beachy waves look. I thought it would be fairly simple since I have long hair that usually holds curls pretty well. Boy was I wrong. I plugged in the Revlon Stylers Curling Iron and waited for it to get hot. After waiting for awhile, I realized that it was not getting very hot. After waiting some more I realized that that was the extent that it was going to heat up. So I tried curling my hair by wrapping it around the barrel and holding it for a few minutes. When I let go, I was pleased to see that I had a loose curl. However, pretty much by the time I had curled my next section of hair, the first segment that I had curled had already lost its bounce. I don't know if using hair spray would help, but I feel like this curler does not get hot enough in the first place unless you have really fine hair that curls really easily. Overall, I would not recommend this.
Pros:  - cheap
Cons:  - doesn't heat up
