I want to start off by saying that I am a sucker for scented products, even though I have sensitive lips, so it’s hard to find a product for me that won’t irritate my lips. I saw this while checking out at my local supermarket so I decided to give it a try.
When I first opened the bottle, it smelled very sweet and fruity, but not too overpowering, it was exactly what I was looking for. I applied it and it did not irritate my lips at all, to my surprise, because I am usually not allowed to use scented products because of my sensitive skin. The fact that this chap stick is all natural probably contributed to that. It also gave my lips a nice, healthy color which I was not expecting, but it was still nice. It also did not give me a oily, greasy feeling that my usual petroleum-based products gave me, so it was a nice change. The only downside is that it moisturizes my lips at first, but it ends up wearing off so I usually find myself reapplying often.

I probably would purchase this again. I recommend this to anyone with sensitive lips looking for a scented lip balm.
Pros:  -smells good
-good for sensitive lips
-inexpensive
Cons:  -I have to reapply often
Great, just wish it had SPF (Report Review)

Burt's Bees is one of those natural beauty brands that you might see in your local drugstore. They offer a range of products, such as body lotions and soap, but one of their most popular products by far is their natural lip balm.

This lip balm is the pomegranate flavor. If you don't like flavored lip balm, or just don't like things that taste or smell like pomegranate, then you won't like this lip balm. But it's actually kind of a nice alternative to basic unflavored lip balms (like Chapstick).

The formula feels a little different from regular lip balms, because it doesn't have petrolatum in it, like Chapstick or Carmex. Instead, it uses beeswax. This can take a little bit of getting used to at first, since the texture is so very different.

However, after using this lip balm for several days, I have to say that I really prefer it to my old lip balm. It seems less greasy and feels like it protects my lips much better than a petrolatum based balm. It gives lips a nice subtle sheen, too.

It's also nice to know that I'm using a product made up mostly of natural, non-chemical ingredients.

My only real gripe with this lip balm is that it doesn't have any SPF. In fact, I've looked at all of the Burt's Bees lip balms, and the highest SPF rating any of them carry is a low 8. I'm not sure if it's difficult to work natural sunscreen into lip balms, or perhaps it affects the taste in a negative way.

But it would be nice to have a natural lip balm that I could wear when I'm at the beach or otherwise spending a lot of time in the sun. However, for the days I'm not in the sun, this will probably be my go-to balm.
Pros:  --Moisturizing
--Natural, chemical-free ingredients
--Reasonably priced
Cons:  --No SPF
