Curly Girls Unite! (Report Review)
Aug 24, 2011 by MsDreaB
Consumer rating: (5)
As a person of mixed heritage (Half Irish/Half African American) I often find myself in need of styling products especially ones that help define curls all the while keeping my hair in place without weighing it down. Garnier Fructis leave in conditioner gets 5/5 Stars from me because it works well, helps define my curls without weighting them down and the smell is great. It holds my hair in place. I love the fact that it is like a lotion and leaves my hair super soft.and I highly recommend it for anyone with curly/wavy hair

Wonderful Hair Support (Report Review)

The quest to find a health and beauty product that was not going to damage my hair or make my hair feel any drier than it already is has begun after I had my first child. I needed something that was not only affordable but that also did just what I wanted and needed it to do. The search had begun and one morning while drinking coffee with some fellow girlfriends, I looked to my closest friend and asked her what her secret was to beautiful and manageable hair. She smiled and me and said that she had purchased this product and it did wonders for her.
I asked around some more and some of them had heard of it, some of them had not and some of them actually use the product. I was glad that I was not the only one who had not. I asked where I could purchase it and they said that anywhere that sold this brand would more than likely carry this specific type of product. You better believe I headed straight to my local drug store.
Inside the store, I went to the shampoo and conditioner aisle and looked around. I was having trouble so I was glad that someone asked if I needed any help. She directed me to the product and then I purchased it. I couldn’t wait to get home and quickly jumped in my shower. At first I did not notice a difference but once I had been using it for a couple of days, I noticed that my hair was feeling smooth as ever and that it made my hair shiny. From that day on, I carry this product everywhere I go to when sleeping over or when out of town for a couple of days.

It's OK (Report Review)

While I was at my local target, I decided to pick this leave-in conditioner up considering how inexpensive it was and how much hype it got.
This is a great product for girls who just want a typical leave in conditioner. It doesn't really "repair my hair", but it leaves my hair noticeably softer and shinier, then before. I have thin, straight asian hair so I don't know what it does for curly hair but my hair did look a lot better. I apply it when my hair is damp and I comb it through. If you apply too much, your hair will look greasy so I try not to be so generous. The downside is that it also has a very fruit smell that is too strong for my taste so I only use this leave in conditioner when I know that I am going to stay home the whole day since it's not a really pleasant smell. I am also not fond of the packaging. It's annoying to close it because you have to push the top down and some of the conditioner just spills out and you have to squeeze the bottle fairly hard.
All in all, it's a decent conditioner for the money you pay (I paid $3.50.) It's a good alternative to the high-end leave in conditioners.
