AVEDA Rosemary Mint Shampoo (Report Review)
Aug 29, 2011 by lahiri22
Consumer rating: (3)
I first tried out the AVEDA Rosemary Mint Shampoo when I received it as part of a gift set. While I appreciate that Aveda products are made only out of natural ingredients, I did not particularly like the AVEDA Rosemary Mint Shampoo. I tried really hard to like it since I know that I can feel good about putting it on my hair. However, I did not really like the smell or texture of the shampoo. For one, the smell was way too strong. The whole bottle reeked of rosemary and made the shampoo as a whole smell way too herbally. In addition, I found the consistency of the shampoo to be a little too thin. It did not lather up as well as other commercial shampoos that I have tried, but I guess that is sort of to be expected with a product that is made out of natural ingredients. Overall, I do not think the AVEDA Rosemary Mint Shampoo is worth paying more for, especially, if you, like me, do not particularly like herbal scents in their hair care. If you like mint and rosemary, then, by all means, go for it.
