This Frigidaire air conditioning unit is the right one for medium-sized to large-sized rooms. It can accommodate a room with a size of up to 350 feet. It features electronic controls and a remote control that is fully functional. It is equipped with a remote thermostat. This unit comes with antimicrobial filter that reduces room odors and bacteria to make any room environment comfortable. Because this unit has Energy Star certification, it will not make you pay a huge utility bill at the end of the month. This unit has a green LED digital display that comes with membrane button controls.

The Frigidaire FRA086AT7 has three speed controls; low, medium and high for both fan and AC. The AC has an Auto Fan which works to regulate the speed of the fan automatically for the user. This unit has a built in memory that remembers your last settings even if it was shut down due to a power loss. It comes with an air ionizer and it has a very attractive look. |

It is quite a hard work to cycle the AC to Fan when it is on to display the actual room temperature and then set it back to AC. There should have been a different toggle button that allows for easy viewing of the set temperature or the room temperature.
The Frigidaire FRA086AT7 causes noise when you press a button on it. It does not have a Vent Open and Vent Close control. |

The Frigidaire FRA082AT7 should have been greater with a thermostat to regulate the temperature as you need to continuously turn it on and off by hand in order to keep it at the perfect temperature.
The installation of the top bar is a bit odd and difficult than it needed to be. You might find the screws not to grip to the main unit that quick. Also, this air conditioning unit does not appear to be airtight. Its fan speed controls include high, higher and blastoff options, no low options indeed. It comes with a little noise as it operates, not unpleasant to the ear though. |
