Awesome for sensitive skin (Report Review)

If you have sensitive skin, then you should definitely try the Physician's Formula Mineral Wear line. I've been honestly amazed at how nice this line really is, despite being offered at drugstore prices.

This pressed powder is great as a finishing veil, to set your makeup, or just over your T-zone if you worry you'll get that midday shine across your nose and forehead.

I've tried lots of pressed powders that were heavily fragranced or otherwise just seemed irritating to my skin. This one is free of those irritating additives.

In the pan, this powder looks like it might be chalky and dry. It actually doesn't feel chalky at all on application, but like most pressed powders, I find that it's best to use a powder brush or puff and apply solely to the T-zone, blending outward from there.

I really like how convenient it is to tuck this compact into my purse for touch-ups on the go. Lots of mineral makeup companies offer powder in a loose form, usually in a little jar or in a dispensing brush, and those can be messy when you're in a hurry or trying to apply your makeup in a restroom, in your car, etc.

I only have one major gripe with the Mineral Wear line, and that is: it seems to cater exclusively to the fair-skinned among us. I get that they want people to stay out of the sun and not develop an unhealthy tan, but people come in lots of different shades besides "natural beige" (duh) and the lack of shades here is boggling.

Unless you're fair-skinned, you'll probably need to keep searching for a mineral powder for your face. But if you regularly have no problem with the drugstore shades, then this is one line you have to try. It offers a very good value for the money.
Pros:  --Won't irritate sensitive skin
Cons:  --Limited shade range
