I have both this and the Oxo salad spinner and i can say that this one totally beats the salad spinner. I'm telling you, spend your money on this regular old fashioned colander instead of something so stupid like a salad spinner. First of all, this one is so cheap. Seriously, why waste $10 for a salad spinner when you can get this beautiful sleek steel colander for only around $5. That's a huge price difference. Another thing is that with using a regular colander, it feels like you're doing it. I don't know how to explain it but a regular salad spinner doesn't do the job that well and it still has water you know. With this, of course it will still have water, but you get to like shake it. Somehow, I love shaking it because it makes me feel like i'm in control. Another thing i like is how this gets the water out of thins for that a salad spinner. Of course, some will argue that this will spill water everywhere but no it doesn't. You just have to shake it either outside or above the sink and it will not leave a huge mess. I'm promising you that you will not regret buying this. It has such a sleek design, it's cheap, and it works extremely well.

I have been meaning to replace my old plastic colander and the OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Colander did just the trick. I really love this colander because it looks really nice with the stainless steel and all, and seems like it will last a very long time. The grip makes it Way easier to carry instead of just one wobbly plastic handle on my old colander. I also like that this one has little "feet" because in my old colander there was no feet and when I set the colander in the sink to drain it would just get the contents on the bottom wet again. The OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Colander is also dishwasher safe and that is a plus because no one wants to spend all their time trying to get the food stuck out of these little holes! The OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Colander holds ALOT of pasta or whatever you need it to. It also stays as shiny as the day you bought it. The OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Colander is worth the money you paid for it and I would recommend buying one if you do need to replace your old colander.

I think that the OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Colander is a really great product that can be used for a variety of different things in the kitchen. I personally like to use the OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Colander for draining my pasta after it has been cooked. I have actually had disaster draining my hot cooked pasta when I tried to do it without using the OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Colander. Basically, I just held onto the lid tightly and held the pot over a sink. This has worked sometimes in a pinch, but other times I have ended up with a potful of noodles in the sink when my hand slipped due to the heat or steam coming from the hot pot. The OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Colander will solve your problems. The OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Colander is great for those who eat pasta and noodles a lot. There is no hassle with the OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Colander -- simply dump everything into the OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Colander and all the excess water will drain off.
