I still remember when Beanie Baby Toys were all the rage back in the day. They were the latest fad, and everyone seemed to want one. I remember I had received a couple as gifts (in particular, I remember having a dog, an owl, and some sort of unicorn). While the Beanie Baby Toys were undeniably cute and popular as presents, I have to wonder whether they were really any more appealing than the other stuffed animals on the market. Sure, the Beanie Baby Toys were cute and there was a lot of variety in the different types of animals that they offered, but were the Beanie Baby Toys any better than the stuffed animals offered by other brands? To be honest, probably not. Furthermore, you could not really play with Beanie Baby Toys. They were more for looking at and for decorative purposes. They looked nice on a shelf, but could you really play with them? My answer is probably not, since they were not build to last. The seams on the Beanie Baby Toys were not particularly strong and they ripped easily.
