Not even worth a dollar (Report Review)

After hearing about the cheap products that ELF had to offer, I went browsing through their site, in need of a coral lip gloss and I came across this. I thought, "hey, it's only a dollar, and it has so much hype, what's to lose?" and by doing that, I made a mistake.
First of all, the tube it comes in is cute and when you swatch it on your hand, the color comes out beautiful. I tried applying some onto my lips and my lips have never been so darn sticky. It had to literally rub the lip gloss off of my lips until my lips turned red, and afterwards my lips were super itchy. I guess I could have gotten a bad batch because there's so many good reviews about this gloss. It also smells like a bunch of processed ingredients horribly covered up by a fruity scent that's hard to point out.
All in all, I was so disappointed in this product even though I really did have high hopes. Don't be fooled of the low price. If you order it on the ELF website, it's a dollar plus ridiculously high shipping (I had to pay $6 shipping for just 3 products). Save your money.

I bought the Lip Gloss - E.L.F. Super Glossy Lip Shine SPF 15 in the shade Candlelight only because I was around one dollar short of free shipping on drugstore.com. Good thing it was only one dollar because it is the most disgusting lip product I have ever tried. It was super sticky and had a really gross chemically sweet smell. It felt really sticky on my lips and made my lips itchy. The itching stopped after I wiped it off with some water. Even though this product is so cheap and offers some SPF protection, I do not think it is even worth the dollar that it costs, to be honest. I think you are better off buying a one dollar chapstick or shelling out a bit more money for a higher quality lip gloss. Needless to say, I would definitely not recommend this product to others, and, in fact, I have to say that I am kind of shocked to see that it has a pretty high product rating on some online sites that I trust, such as makeupalley. You have all been warned -- stay away from this product! You get what you pay for.
