For Advance Users (Report Review)

Canon PowerShot G12 is, as the title says For Advance Amateurs, That’s why I bought it, its optical view finder really helps me and its articulated LCD really helps me a lot, its image quality is also very Good as compare to its competitors. There is no direct recording buttons that really annoys me and well it’s not a pocket camera and finally the addition to the Canon’s G12 feature set is an electronic level, which sits at the bottom of the screen and can be used in both landscape and portrait formats.
Well to sum it up first, things I don't like:
1. No zooming or AF during video recording,
2. Some annoying controls,
3. 24fps video recording instead 30fps,
4. Rear control dial can be hard to manipulate precisely.
Now the things I like:
1. In-camera HDR,
2. Excellent build quality,
3. Lots of manual control,
4. Accurate metering and focus.
The addition of 720p video and in camera HDR the Canon PowerShot G12 remains a very good, more-or-less compact model, designed to please advance amateur who can't afford DSLR.
