My Canon PowerShot SX30 IS Digital Camera has been one of the best cameras I’ve ever owned. With its super zoom capability and automatic setting, all I have to do is literally point and shoot. It is almost impossible to take a blurry or bad picture with this digital camera.
Even though the Canon PowerShot is fully automatic, you can set different Shooting Modes depending on where your picture subject might be. For example, the Beach setting is for taking pictures of subjects under sunny conditions, the image will not be darkened by glare.
Making videos with the Canon PowerShot is very enjoyable since the output is excellent. With the many features such as its HD capability, high definition shooting and playback, makes your videos look like they were professionally made. By hooking up the PowerShot via a mini HDMI connector, we instantly watch our own pictures and videos in high definition using our 32” HDTV.
As a hobbyist photographer, I would usually use the optical view finder, but the Sony LCD display monitor on this camera is so clear, that you literally see and visualize your picture even before you snap it.
