Amazing! (Report Review)

Usually lipstick is very messy, slimy, and just plain uncomfortable to eat with, drink with, or apply. But Revlon's new and amazing ColorStay Ultimate Liquid lipstick is exactly the opposite.
Normal lipstick will wear off in a few hours. What I love about Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick is it's amazing ColorStay technology. Even after 8 hours, it looked like I had just applied it! The color was just as vibrant as it was in the morning.
Another thing that I absolutely love about Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick is all the colors that you can select from. From bright cherry reds to inconspicuous pinks, the colors stay true to what they look like in their beautiful packaging.
The best thing about this wonderful lipstick is that it requires no topcoat! I know, right? Finally, an amazing brand like Revlon creates what all women dream of in a lipstick. One that needs no topcoat. And it ends up looking better than other lipsticks that do require a topcoat!
All in all, buy this remarkable lipstick and you will never go back.

Browsing through the store I came across these lip gloss like tubes with beautiful colors. I decided to buy one to try because they looked so interesting. It was the worse $9.98 I have ever spent.
The color selection is pretty nice. There were several different brown shades that I liked. Even though it costs more than I normally spend on any lip product, I decided to try one.
I finally settled on a color and once I got into the car, I opened it and tried it on my lips. It went on really slick and sticky. It seemed more like lip gloss than lip stick. It took a while to dry and when it finally did, it still felt quite tacky.
When eating or even drinking, it would come off and I would have to reapply.
All in all, I would not purchase this product again even if it was cheaper. I don't like the tackiness at all.

Finally, a long-wearing lipstick that doesn't require a topcoat (Report Review)

I'm not usually a huge fan of lipstick, for one very simple reason: it's messy. I don't like having to touch up my makeup and lipstick just wears off too fast if you eat or drink anything (or kiss anyone)! Red just doesn't seem so glamorous when it's smearing.
I've tried a few long-wearing lipsticks from other drugstore brands (Maybelline, Cover Girl) but they usually employ a topcoat, which inevitably needs to be reapplied. The few times I've encountered long-wearing lipstick that didn't use a topcoat, it felt too dry and cakey on my lips.
So when I saw that Revlon had come out with a liquid lipstick that claimed to stay put all day with no topcoat, I had to try it. I believe it's the only formula of its kind on drugstore shelves.
I've had good luck with other Revlon lip products in the past so I expected to like this product as well, but I was surprised at just how much I liked it. I really expected the color to transfer just a little onto the rim of a drinking glass or the back of my hand, but it didn't budge.
It doesn't feel as drying as some other long-wearing brands that I've tried. The colors are fairly true to what you see in the tube, which makes color selection easy.
Some of the colors actually dry to an almost matte finish, so if you prefer a lot of shine, you might want to add a gloss on top. But for the red shade I picked (Superb Sangria), I though this finish was actually preferable. At most I would add a swipe of lip balm on top.
Overall, I have to say that this lipstick has made a convert out of me; I'm no longer afraid of wearing bold colors on a dinner date!
