I have used Herbal Essences on and off for years now. I have the type of hair that is poufy the first day after shampooing. Great the day after. Limp and oily on the third day. I've tried many shampoos to see if one will work better for me than another. I will have to say that this one is the same as all the rest i've tried. This particular shampoo has a very pleasant scent. I really enjoy the fruity smell. I find that I do need to shampoo my hair twice with this product to really feel that my hair is clean. So even though this shampoo is not that expensive at a little under $3 a bottle, I do have to use twice as much to get my hair feeling clean.

After using this particular shampoo several times, I came to the conclusion that it did not give my hair more volume than it already had to begin with. If anything, I think it makes my hair feel heavier. If it wasn't for the nice fruity scent, I probably would not even finish using the entire bottle.
Pros:  smells really good, not expensive.
Cons:  does not "volumize" like stated.

I have used Herbal Essences shampoos for a really long time and I have found that they are generally pretty reliable and get the job done. I recently started using the Herbal Essences Herbal Essences Body Envy Volumizing Shampoo and I have found that the scent is very pleasant. The shampoo has a nice fruity scent that makes your hair smell nice. In addition, it lathers up nicely and leaves your hair feeling clean after two rinses. I usually use a quarter sized amount, rub it in, rinse it out and repeat with another quarter sized amount of shampoo. This product was also pretty cheap, I think I got it for around two dollars with a coupon for one dollar off two products. I would recommend this product to others because it is a relatively inexpensive product that gets the job done and is likely comparable to higher end brands of shampoos that will cost you a lot more money. I would suggest pairing this the Herbal Essences Body Envy Volumizing Shampoo with one of the Herbal Essences conditioners as well.
Pros:  - Cheap
- Smells good
- Cleans hair well
Cons:  - none
It's OK... (Report Review)

I ran out of shampoo, and I wanted to find a new one for a cheaper price. I've heard a lot of things about Herbal Essences so I decided to try it.

After smelling literally all of the scents Herbal Essences had to offer at my local Target, I picked Body Envy. It smells very fruity, but it's not too strong. It's a very pleasant scent. That night, I decided to put it to the test. The packaging is nice, but sometimes the lid can be a bit difficult to open so I tend to not close to all of the way. On the label, it claims to add volume to your hair and that was exactly what I needed for my flat, boring, pin straight hair. When I put it on my hair, it was very easy to lather up. It was a bit harder to rinse out than my normal "go to" shampoo. I feel like after a couple minutes of washing the shampoo out, it still leaves residue. I also noticed that it isn't moisturizing at all. It left my hair feeling dry and damaged. When I got out of the shower, my hair did not look more volumized what so ever.

I don't think that this was worth my money, even if it was cheap. I will definitely not be purchasing this again.
Pros:  -smells good
-cheap
Cons:  -leaves residue
-does not add volume
-hard to rinse out
