Good but there are cheaper alternatives. (Report Review)

I purchased Corel WinDVD pro 2010 last year expecting amazing results but it kid of fell short from that.
The one thing that is nice about the program is that it up spcales on any dvd to bring it up pretty close to a HD level which makes it very nice.
I was sold on the fact that it has 5.1 dolby digital sound and I figured it would make my speaker system sound even better but it really didn't make much of a difference.
I was using it with Windows Vista and Windows 7 and it worked the same on both of them no better or worse on either operating system.
My favorite thing about this software is that it allows you to play bluray disc which is great because I couldn't find anything that could when I first bought my bluray player.
This software works very food but there is much cheaper alternatives out there some players out there are even free and come pretty close to this.
Don't get me wrong this is a great program but overall I'm just saying that there are cheaper alternatives.
If you're needing a bluray player I would recommend this but if you're using it for a DVD player I would look for something cheaper and more affordable unless this is on sale.
