Could\'ve done better (Report Review)

To tell the truth, the spider wasn\'t a very good choice for the lead role in this movie clip. He refused to walk on anything else but a perfectly smooth floor, so you can imagine the problems filming in an apocalyptic world. He wanted nothing but batteries at the buffet, demanding 2 AA AND 2 AAA batteries for each meal - and he insisted on eating every 30 minutes. He also wanted his own Creature Handler.
It was a Director\'s nightmare!
Fortunately, the Creature Handler exercised tact and patience, and we were able to shoot this movie with minimal delays, even with a spider-diva. Finding the remote to push his buttons was a snap. The remote is clearly marked, and is oval-shaped (like a spider egg, they tell us), and has only two buttons - Go and Rotate. Of course this means he can\'t go backwards, and to get him to back up, he has to spin all the way around. We were even considering filming him walking and then running the clip backwards.
With regard to stealthy attacks, forget it! This guy is as subtle as a bulldozer, and you\'ll hear him coming a mile off. However, he is realistically hairy and moves like a real (really BIG) tarantula and he\'s got these glowing red eyes to creep you out. I guess we hired him for his looks and not his personality.
Anyway, in summary, this spider looks great (if you\'re into hairy, ugly things), walks great (but with too much noise) and is somewhat limited in terms of mobility. On a smooth floor he can walk and spin with the best of them, but that\'s about it. Entertaining for a while, and a pain in the tail if you want him to star in your horror movie.

attracted me just because of my prankster sense (Report Review)

Seriously, i am a prankster at heart, and you don't know how fun it is to prank people with this amazing, well built, good quality tarantula, first off, i went to my cousin's house recently, and they SCREAMED THEIR HEADS OFF BECAUSE THIS TARANTULA IS SO REAL!!! If you are scared of getting this tarantula because of any of the invisible, non-existent reasons, then don't be, you should purchase this item with a strong heart because i guarantee you you will not be disappointed, also i loved pranking my mom with it, she actually got the broom out and tried to bash it to death, that is how real this genius piece of work is, the only person that wasn't afraid of it is m dad, because i let him in on the joke because i knew his keen sense would see right through the ruse. If you have a dad that is very sharp, let him in on it :)
Pros: |
IT IS REALISTIC, i swear if i was in a dark alley with this thing and i didn't know that it was a fake, the first thing i would do is run for help and say there is a rabid tarantula on my tale, and tell everyone to run away |
Cons: |
THERE SIMPLY ARE NONE |

Great but has a flaw (Report Review)

I wanted to scare someone for April's Fools day so I look around online for somethin cool and came upon this remote control tarantula. I read rood reviews about it so I decided to buy it. ANd it was the bomb! I scared my wife out of her soul! It was just hilarious! I hid it in a pizza box and when she opened it, she was so scared! This is a great remote control spider. It looks so realistic and works really easy too. All you have to do is put in the batteries and there you go! Super simple. I love scaring people with this toy and I'm sure you'll have a great time. It's actually really furry and looks exactly like a real tarantuala. Everything is good except for 1 thing. It makes a really loud mechanical noise when you use it. It kinda ruins the surprise but besides that, everything is great. I love this small little toy. And it only costs $15-20 on amazon which is a great deal! So if you're lookin for a great trick on Aprils Fools Day or just want to shock someone, then this is the perfect toy for you!
Pros: |
- Looks amazingly realistic!
- Feels so creepy!
- Works great! |
Cons: |
The only flaw is that it's too noisy! Whenever you use it, there's like a loud robot sound which may ruin your surprise. |
