Not recommended and has been recalled a time or two (Report Review)

The Evenflo Triumph car seat is no longer a good rated car seat. As a matter of fact, the car seat has been recalled a time or two. Before the recall, many people recommended it to me and I honestly thought that it was a good car seat. I liked the fact that it was one of the easiest to install and even rear facing, it fit in the car easily. It was far easier to put in in forward position of course but either way, it went in pretty easy.
The harness height adjustment is good to keep the seat adjusted to the exact height that you want to have the seat adjusted to. You can adjust the harness without rethreading the harness which is unlikely for many other car seats. This task I hate to do when I am trying to adjust a car seat harness.
The Evenflo Triumph offers the easiest to use buckle systems of many of the various car seats on the market. The chest clip is solid and is nice for the system. The only trouble with it is that it is so easy to use that it allowed my toddler to figure out how to use the car seat straps and buckles within a small amount of time which had given them time to extract themselves while I am driving.
The one good thing that I liked best about the car seat was the fact that the cover is plush and comfortable. It is easily machine washed and can then be air dried or it can be thrown in the dryer on a low setting. The car seat has been switched from clips to screws as well as clips again but ours comes with the easy to remove clips. This is not my first choice as well but hey, I do not use the car seat any longer so that is fine with me.
