Nice Entertainment System Addition (Report Review)

I originally purchased this specific unit to watch Blu-Ray DVD movies and had considered different brand names before I bought this Samsung BD-C5500. The price was right and knew that Samsung made great TVs when it came to picture quality. It is sleek and very compact; it doesn’t take much room in my entertainment cabinet.
I was very pleased with the picture quality and more please to see that the unit streams Netflix and YouTube videos. Once connected to the LAN line, the unit automatically updated all files and I was able to read all the music and photo files on our network. We have a lot of pictures and we spent many hours watching them through it. As for playing music through this player, there was no issue, it sounds great hooked up to the home entertainment system. Unfortunately it does not have Wi-Fi so I had to go purchase an extra LAN wire to access the router.
So, through this unit we can stream Internet videos and movies, listen to our stored music, and go down memory lane watching our pictures. It comes with a few apps like Netflix and YouTube, hopefully Samsung will update and more apps available in the future...like other Internet video website and even social networks like FaceBook.
Therefore, for the $129 I paid for this Samsung Blu-Ray player, I am pleased with all the other applications it provides. It made a great addition to our entertainment system.
