Good Player For The Money (Report Review)

I am a collector of older VHS movies and since I have children who love to leave DVD's out, I hate the fact that I can not keep them from being scratched. With a DVD player with a VHS player, I can allow them to watch their DVD’s when supervised as well as watch movies on their own with the VHS player.
I love to find a number of bargains at one time and love to shop around at the local second hand stores. This is where I find a number of my old VHS tapes and a number of DVD’s. The VHS tapes are perfect for children who leave the discs laying around of for those family members who love to put things where they don’t belong. For this reason, I try to purchase all my movies on both DVD and VHS.
The only thing that I found with this DVD player is that if you have a scratch on one of the discs that you are trying to play, it can be difficult to get the disc read. In this case, you want to make sure that all of your discs are clean as well as free from scratches. If there are some small scratches on the disc, you can expect that the disc is going to read an error message on your DVD player.
I love to record all my movies over onto VHS so that I can keep a spare copy on tape when it comes to watching a movie over and over again. It comes in handy having the VHS player on the other side of the DVD player so that I am able to record the discs onto VHS tapes.
I do overall like the functions of the player but wish that it could be less sensitive to scratches on the discs. Its still a god player however.

Waste of money (Report Review)

I am using Toshiba DVR670 DVD Recorder for past few months, and I have faced many problems. This Combo VCR has never played my old collection of great movies with slight scratches, as it is highly sensitive to even a single scratch.
Once I tried to freeze a DVD for few seconds, and then this DVD Player completely stopped its functions. This happened due to a slight scratch preset on the point of freeze, and this problem has been solved by cleaning of that particular point. If you are watching interesting movie, then you may not prefer to clean repeatedly its lens for smooth playing of DVD or VCD.
I also have experienced a problem with its tuning, because on one occasion I tried to change its tune to OTA channel, and the result was dispirited to me. In that condition, it has gone out of order, and I have broken its remote control due to the irritation.
Sometimes, I am using a remote control to change up or a down channel button, and this DVD Recorder worked in a wrong way. For instance, when I used to press 2 or 4, it will not follow my instructions, and channel will be changed in a wrong like 1 or 3 and so on.
This fact is a very irksome for me, so I think that I have wasted my money to purchase this electronic device. Its automatic exhaust fan is not a sound proof, so it will produce a noise during playing any DVD after a regular interval. This noise will definitely disturb the taste of watching interesting movies.
I have bought this product, because at that time not other product was available in the nearby market. Now, I am not happy with its overall results and many other minor problems. I would not recommended to buy this and waste your money.
