Works Great TO Remove Color (Report Review)

Have you had a hair color experience go bad? Are you someone who has put hair dye in your hair and then realized a week later that you do not like the color that you dyed your hair? If so, then this hair color remover is just what you need. I had an experience where I allowed a friend of mine to install hair color into my hair and then when it came to washing it out, I realized that the color on the box was nothing like the color on my hair. For this reason, I decided that it was in fact time for me to either purchase another dose of hair color or to find a solution to removing the color that was put onto my hair.

For the purpose of avoiding another mixup, I purchased the L’Oreal hair color remover to see if it would really work. The hair color remover worked great on getting rid of the color that my friend put in while allowing my hair to remain shiny and smooth. Typically when there is an issue with hair color and the stripping of a color, the hair will become fried and brittle. My hair in this case did not do that. My hair instead turned out shiny and silky as well as being smooth.

When it comes to putting anything in my hair, I do not just settle for whatever is easiest, I choose to have a color or product on my hair that is not going to cause damage to my hair. The damage that I have done to my hair the first time was enough to last me a lifetime that it taught me to not trust just anything that someone says. I did have a friend who had used this product in the past and who suggested that I use this product, going against what I believe in, I decided to try it anyways. Since I did, I loved this product and love what it did for me. The next time that I have something go wrong with my hair, I will opt for this product again. The price was perfect, the feeling I had when it was all done and over with was amazing and my hair looked great. It was an overall excellent experience.
Pros:  Can remove almost any color.
Not sure where to start! Are they all this bad? (Report Review)

Wow, I don't even know where to start with this product. I'm not sure if this was a particularly bad example of a hair color remover, or if all color remover kits are this bad. Either way, it was not a pleasant experience.

I decided to dye my hair a shade of medium brown, but the color turned out super dark--like, almost black! I didn't want to be walking around with ash black hair (I'm fair-skinned, so it would have looked pretty goth), so I decided to buy a box of color remover and start over with a light brown shade.

Normally, I only need one box of hair dye to cover my hair--there's usually even some left over--but the color remover has very little potion in it, so I would recommend buying wo or even three boxes, if you have long hair.

There's just a straight nozzle tip on the bottle, no comb attachment or anything like that, so it's extremely hard to distribute the remover evenly. The end result being that I wound up with a rather patchy removal that left me with some spots a little darker than others.

If you've never used a color remover before, be warned, this will leave your hair somewhere between calico cat orange and bad bleach blonde. When they tell you to buy your next color kit at the same time for immediate use, they're saying it for a reason!

This formula dries out your hair terribly, and once you rinse it out, you'll have to blow dry and attempt to comb your hair so you can use your next dye kit. Suffice it to say, I was left with a wild bird's nest for a mane.

I eventually did get my hair recolored to a normal state, so I'm glad I found this kit so I didn't have to pay a pro to lighten my hair. But I'm wondering, are all color removers this harsh? Bottom line, it's a lifesaver if you really need it--but it would be better not to need it at all!
Pros:  --Removed permanent black hair color
Cons:  --No distribution tip
--Not enough remover per box
--Extremely drying
--Terrible smell
