I received the Frigidaire FRT8B5EWC Top Mount Frost Proof Refrigerator (18.2 cu.ft.) as a Christmas present from my oldest brother in 2008. The refrigerator i had at the time died and i was using a large cooler to keep my refrigerated food cold. My dear brother and his wife showed up with a new refrigerator for my present. What a blessing! I have had the new frig for almost 3 years now and am very happy with it. There is an optional ice maker kit available but that did not come with it. The freezer is quite large and i have never had any frost. I do keep it set toward the colder end of the freezer setting.
The refrigerator has 3 side shelves and the bottom shelf is large enough for a gallon which is nice. There are dual crispers. I keep the refrigerator set at about 4.2 which is about 58 degrees. I have only had to replace the inner light bulb once. The outside door handles are on the right which works well since my stove sets on the right of it. The two wire coated shelves are easy to take in and out to adjust and clean. The Frigidaire is an Energy Star product. The only thing i don\'t like is cleaning up spills that get under the shelf above the crispers.
