I recently tried out Sandboxie out of curiosity because I was tired of dealing with viruses on my computer. Apparently, when you download and install Sandboxie, you can choose to run downloaded programs only in the Sandboxie window, which prevents viruses from getting onto your computer. In other words, the Sandboxie program acts as a shield against unwanted viruses. Well, this sounded too good to be true -- and it kind of turned out that way. I downloaded and installed it according to the instructions on the website, yet for the life of me I could not figure out how to run the program correctly. I tried downloaded something and running it in Sandboxie, but it was not working. I ended up giving up in frustration and uninstalling Sandboxie because I just could not get it to work properly. Overall, I am still giving it three stars because I think that the program has a good concept -- it does, however, need some work on its execution. It needs to be more user-friendly to attract more users.

I use Sandboxie every day and have it auto attached to my email and web browser.
What sandboxie does it basically protects programs and malware from opening up and spreading to your computer.
Simply put it is basically a virtual windows inside of your windows to protect your windows from getting corrupt files from bad programs that try to get into your system.
Sandboxie has protected me multiple times from viruses that come from search engines and other ads that contain them.
It completely blocks all access from things trying to download into your computer and lets you know immediately that something is trying to get to it.
Installing sandboxie is very easy to do and it usually takes about 30 seconds or so before it's completely installed.
Running sandboxie is very easy and there is multiple guides on the internet.
All you have to do is right click and hit run program in and sandbox and you're completely set.
Sandboxie is a miracle program and you're almost crazy not to try it.
It makes no difference what so ever to the program you're running the only difference it makes is that it doesn't allow downloads to come in or files to be changed.
