We just purchased this filter this year and we are very happy with this. We had a much smaller one before buying this one. This really took to action and cleaned our pool within 48 hours. It is super nice. You do not have to run this all day or night. You can just run it a few hours a day and it does the job. The filters you put in the pump are very reasonably priced. You can find them at Walmart, Kmart, or online. The pump is very quiet running. You will not ever hear it. It really puts out the water nice too. It is strong! The kids love to hook up the equipment that comes with it that makes a spout of water. It is so cool. You can even take the filters out and wash them each day to get the maximum use out of them. It is a really nice looking piece of equipment too. it stands out nicely and it is never in the way. It is not overly large but just perfect. It has a nice plug in on it too. It reaches far. We are so happy with this pump and so glad we purchased it. It came with a nice warranty too. Thank you!!

Way better than the stock pump. (Report Review)

After having the stock intex pump that came with my pool I couldn't handle the slow amount of water it was pumping so I bought this for a replacement.
Needless to say this pump is at least 4 times better than the stock pump that comes with the original pool that I bought.
It has a auto timer which is very nice for having the pool pump for a certain amount of time.
I find the timer option to be very handy because you can have it run 3 hours while you're away and it will shut itself off which is very handy.
Cleaning the pump is also very easy I found myself having zero issues unscrewing the lid to remove the filter for cleaning or replacement.
Overall the pump is very easy to setup I had this installed within about 10 minutes and I was completely good to go afterwards it just fired up and produced a pretty good amount of water flow.
If you're looking for a step up above the stock pump that comes with most intex pools I would recommend checking this one out simply for the fact that it pumps way more water through the pool but it's also a lot easier on filters compared to some of the others.
